"Horry County Schools’ reliance on technology has been heavily impacted by a computer virus known as malware, and getting rid of it could cost the district more than just time and trouble. According to Charles Hucks, who serves as executive director of technology for the district, the virus was discovered Monday. He emphasized that the district’s computer system has not been hacked, and no information about students and employees has been stolen."
