"Sea Haven reached out to area schools to gauge the level of need. Socastee High School, Myrtle Beach High School, North Myrtle Beach High School, Loris High School and Middle School and Green Sea Floyds High School and Middle School indicated that they had students who needed the extra nutrition to take home. Without assistance, many students would go through the weekend with very little to eat."
