"Every year, the South Carolina Association of School Administrators, or SCASA, awards a few lucky elementary, middle, and high schools around the state the title of “Palmetto’s Finest.” And for the last two years, St. James High School has been a finalist. According to St. James principal Vann Pennell, that’s because of the hard work that the staff and students have put into making St. James a phenomenal school."
